Heckington Community Swimming Pool was originally built in 1974
and many people from the village can share wonderful memories of how they or their relatives helped to dig out the pool as they all felt strongly that local school children should benefit from learning to swim but in 2009 the pool was handed over to the community.
This community gem is operated, supervised, managed and maintained by volunteers from the local area and because of this, volunteers are crucial to the success of the pool. If you would like to see how you can help support please take a look at our Volunteer Page.
